The challenge was to create a user-friendly, data-rich web application that could effectively present and analyze MIT's vast collection of global economic and social data.
The platform needed to be accessible to a diverse user base, from students to PhD candidates and professors, while providing powerful tools for data visualization, comparison, and export. Additionally, it had to be scalable, secure, and adaptable for future enhancements.
We developed a comprehensive solution to address MIT REAP's unique data analysis needs:
Cygnis designed and built a comprehensive web platform tailored to the unique needs of the regional entrepreneurship ecosystem. This platform allows users to analyze trends and patterns across decades of data for over 100 countries, covering more than 40 metrics, fostering economic growth and social progress.
Robust system for handling and organizing vast amounts of country-specific data across multiple metrics.
Seamless integration with external data sources to enrich the platform's dataset.
Advanced tools allowing users to create custom graphs based on any combination of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Options to export graphs as images and underlying data as CSV files for further analysis.
Features allowing users to compare and contrast data across countries and metrics easily.
Tools to facilitate collaboration among students, professors, and researchers using the platform.
Optimized design ensuring seamless usage across various devices and screen sizes.
Designed to accommodate growing datasets and increasing user base over time.
Responsive design optimized for mobile devices, ensuring a seamless experience across all screen sizes.
From the beginning Cygnis Media an excellent team to work with. They are very professional and quickly understood our needs and how best to implement our vision for the project. Cygnis provided a clear proposal that fit our tight timeline and delivered on each milestone of the project as planned.
