Overview

During the NFL off-season, maintaining fan excitement is always a challenge. Leveraging the anticipation of the 2012 NFL Draft, we created a Facebook application that engaged fans by allowing them to vote for draft players in fun categories, reminiscent of high school yearbooks. The app also offered fans the opportunity to create their own rookie photos, generating significant interaction and fan engagement.

Our Solution

Our Solution

Our team designed a social media app that lets NFL fans vote, create, and share their own draft player yearbooks and rookie photos.

Features:

  • Player Voting: Fans can vote for players in fun categories like "Most Likely to Win a Super Bowl" or "Most Likely to be on Dancing with the Stars."
  • Yearbook Creation: Fans receive a completed yearbook showcasing the most popular players in each category.
  • Rookie Photo Customization: Users can superimpose their Facebook profile picture onto a jersey of their favorite NFL team to create a personalized rookie photo.
  • Social Sharing: Fans can share their yearbooks and rookie photos with friends on Facebook.
Result

The NFL Draft Yearbook Facebook application was a massive hit, with over 100,000 yearbooks created and circulating among fans. The app generated significant traffic and interaction, with fans eagerly sharing their personalized rookie photos and yearbooks. The project was deployed across multiple NFL-related Facebook pages, reaching over 50 million fans and boosting engagement during the NFL off-season.
