There has been a big hype after the announcement of new iPhone 4 from Verizon. At the announcement it was also a big thing to hear that Verizon will be offering the Hotspot feature in the iPhone, on the other hand AT&T has provided the date of 13th Feb, 2011 to release the updated version and will be providing the Hotspot feature soon, but as it is in pending from AT&T, Verizon has taken all the attention of the people who were looking for this feature.
The basic talk nowadays is about the biggest market share owner in the wireless industry, which off course will be decided later on once the Verizon’s iPhone is released. However, Verizon in its pre-order campaign have broken the sales record only in 2 hours, YES!! 2 hours people, and that too Verizon only offered the pre-orders to its existing customers, after 2 hours Verizon had to close the pre-orders.Guess if they would have given it to the open house. ¬†Anyhow, Verizon have decided to reopen the pre-orders on 9th Feb, 2011 between 3:00 AM to 5:00 AM.
Coming back to AT&T, they were the only iPhone provider in the US from start and for the last three years was not been able to provide the quality of service which was required by the customers, there have been a lot of complains about the  voice clarification and call disconnections.
AT&T and Verizon are having a war on their advertisement these days, they are not saying any bad words for iPhone but only targeting one another’s service quality. According to the recent polls different companies have taken 58% of people are willing to switch to Verizon’s iPhone, AT&T’s 50% customers are also willing to switch their services and are willing to use Verizon’s iPhone. Most of the users know that they might not be able to use Verizon’s iPhone in other countries but still they are willing to use it because of AT&T’s bad service quality within US and high rates of roaming.
Verizon’s iPhone have not yet been tested, the poll results are based on other smartphones Verizon is offering. However, AT&T being the only iPhone service provider have been tested and the poll result indicated that their service is not at the highest standards. Verizon’s officials at the launching ceremony of iPhone specifically emphasized that they are ready for the big task of providing quality service users are looking for and they are not going to make the same mistake their competitors have made.
Now the hype is about to be audited as the launch is merely few days, and we would be having some more polls and opinions of people who use Verizon’s iPhone.
