Hello everyone and welcome to the first installment of our blog. In this first post, we wanted to tell all of you a little bit about us, why we have started a company that does what it does, and what to expect from future postings.
Here at Cygnis Media, we firmly believe that a well designed and professionally executed digital marketing campaign including aspects of the interactive web such as social media networks, viral videos, community management, and more, can add great value to you existing brand or business.
Unfortunately, most social media marketing campaigns yield poor results and are often deemed as failures. Upon investigating these failures or witnessing them firsthand, we found that there was no real mystery as to “why” this was happening; the reasons were clear as day.
We will delve into deeper detail on this subject matter at a later time, but just to touch on it briefly, it can be said that several social media campaigns that are failing are due to the fact that they are being treated like conventional advertising campaigns. Little emphasis is given to tracking the success of the campaign and even lesser still is being done to tweak and enhance based on user feedback. The beauty of the social nature of today’s web sites is that you can constantly communicate with your consumers and get insight on how they think and react to the way you execute particular strategies. One cannot stress enough the importance of analyzing this data and learning from it.
Enter Cygnis Media. Our main reason for starting this company is to be a premier new media marketing company that aligns itself with the goals and objectives of the client and help add value to the existing business by utilizing the available channels found on the Internet. Our goal is to not only create and execute the plans, which will help you best achieve your objectives and success metrics, but to also educate you along the way, helping you better understand the concepts of new media marketing. Because ultimately, no one knows your business better than you, and without your feedback and participation, the campaign will not reach it’s full potential.
In future posts we plan to cover topics trending the social media, digital marketing, mobile development, design and creative genres. Every now and then you can expect a review of an interesting book or two, some cool new web or mobile applications and whatever else the tech world throws our way. I look forward to enthralling debates with you all in the years to come.
