At the end of a party or event, you might ask your friends to share pictures with you, but well, we all know that doesn’t happen instantly when you get home, and chances are you might not get all the good pictures. Facebook’s Moments App bridges this gap and allows you to share the pictures you took, get the photos you didn’t, and re-live your moments in a single place. The app received its first major update since its debut in June. The new update will automatically create videos for any grouping of six or more photos for a moment.
The update allows you to customize your videos too. You can edit the pictures in the video, change the background music from a dozen options available. The music collection includes very nice tracks and can help you set the tone you’re looking for your video. These pictures can be the ones originated by you or by your friends who were part of the moment. Just as you are done editing your video, a single tap will share your video on your Facebook account and tag those friends automatically whom you have been sharing the photos with.
Facebook has over 4 billion video views on a daily basis. Being fairly new, the major update promises users to see the value the app holds. Facebook Moments holds the 19th position on Google Play and 107th spot on the App store. As the early adopters of the app have started sharing their videos on Facebook with friends, hopefully the users will increase rapidly due to the emotional connection this feature will now create.
